The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

  • Name, date of birth, contact details including phone number, email address and home address.
  • GP details
  • Relevant medical history including medication and allergies
  • Details of procedures and histology results performed at The Marylebone Clinic

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To be able to contact you
  • To be able to communicate relevant results to your GP if required
  • Keep a record of any procedures and results for future communications

We may share this information with your GP or local NHS hospital if onward referral is required. We would always discuss this with you first.

We keep personal and medical details indefinitely. We will then dispose your information should you wish us to.

Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
